Network Rail have advised that the bridge has been scanned using ground penetrating RADAR and the drilling of some trial holes will hopefully locate precisely where voids may be in the structure. Once they have the results of this, in the next fortnight, they’ll be able to decide how best to repair and maintain the bridge.
